India bounced back from the defeat versus New Zealand in design as they beat arch competitors Pakistan by 6 wickets on Sunday in their 2nd match of the continuous ICC Wprophecy’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Batting veryfirst Pakistan were limited to 105/8 in 20 overs mostly due to the bowling efforts of Arundhati Reddy who bowled a match-winning spell of 3/19. Reddy was backed by Shreyanka Patil (2/12) and Renuka Singh, Deepti Sharma and Asha Sobhana all 3 of whom declared a wicket each.

Opener Shafali Verma’s set the speed in the chase as she scored 32 off 35 balls. In the middle order Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur played scored a stable 29 in 24 balls and nearly took India home.
