2024 WNBA Championship chances: Aces preferred; Caitlin Clark, Fever increasing

With the WNBA season in complete swing, title chances are on the move, with 2 clear favorites at the top.

After the WNBA Draft, ruling champ Las Vegas’ chances moved to +100 after opening at +115. 

Now, at 10-6, those chances have extended to +140, while the 16-3 New York Liberty saw their chances relocation somewhat over the past week, from +200 to +180.

The Aces and Liberty satisfied in the WNBA Finals last season, with Las Vegas winning 3-1.

Further down the list is Indiana — a group whose chances are toppling assoonas onceagain.

A week ago, the Fever were sitting at +8000 to win it all; now those title futures have extended to +10000.

Caitlin Clark and the Fever have won 5 of their last 7, one of their finest extends of the season.

On Sunday, the Fever fell the Mercury 88-82. Clark scored 15 points and included 12 helps and 9 boards.

However, 3 days before that win, Caitlin went 4-of-9 from the field in Indiana’s 89-77 loss to Seattle. 

Following that loss, NBA champ and FOX Sports factor Paul Pierce stated that Clark requires to focus more on her offense.

“Initially, she came into the league — to me — as a scorer,” Pierce stated on a current episode of “Undisputed.” “Yeah, we understand about your passing capability.

“But wear’t come in here to the WNBA attempting to lead the league in helps when we understand you led the country in scoring. One of the finest scorers in college basketball history — if not the finest in females’s basketball … it’s time to start getting these shots up.”
