The schedule for the Boston Celtics’ (and the rest of the NBA’s) 2022-23 season has finally been released in full, with all 82 games for the Celtics’ coming campaign having been released by the league Wednesday afternoon.
Besides the dates we’ve already been made aware of (the opening night game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 18, the East Finals rematch vs. the Miami Heat three days later, and the Christmas Day contest against the Milwaukee Bucks chief among them), we can now map out the high points of a season Boston is anticipated to contend for the 2023 NBA Championship at the end of.
We’ve since learned of 37 national TV games, New Years, Easter, and Martin Luther King Day games, 13 back to backs, a seven-game home stand, and a six-game road trip. Let’s take a look at some of the more important games on the Celtics’ 2022-23 slate of games.
