Update []: More details about Sony’s marketing partnership with Battlefield 6 have started to emerge online, with various exclusive benefits for PS Plus subscribers announced.
As we reported earlier this week, those who party up with two or more paying members will be entitled to a 5% XP boost, but the collaboration doesn’t end there.
PlayStation.com reveals the full list of incentives for PS Plus members:
- Tier Skips
- Automatically unlock extra tiers when you purchase Battlefield Pro.
- Extended Access to 2XP Events
- Get extended access into select bonus XP events to boost your progression.
- Squad XP Boost
- Unlock an XP Boost for your whole squad when two or more players in the squad are on PlayStation.
Sony will be hoping that, at least among console owners, PS5 is considered the “best place to play” Battlefield 6. We’re confident that’ll be reflected in its sales results.

This is a pretty minor one so don’t get too excited just yet, but if you join a party with two or more PS Plus subscribers, you’ll be eligible 5% XP boost. You’ll also get a 5% XP boost for being in a party in the first place, totalling a 10% XP bonus.
