What 5 Runners Eat to Prep for the New York Marathon

What’s a common day of consuming in the week leading up to the marathon?
The truthful response is that I have not followed any type of meal strategy or dietplan. My children are 4 and practically 2, so I primarily makeitthrough on the declined scraps of my kids and the verysame 5 meals we turn through every week.

For this week particularly, I have attempted to up my breakfast protein with eggs, yogurt, and the like. Coffee and fruit are a must. Lunches are usually leftovers (like barbecue chicken or taco bowls) or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chips, and fruit.

For supper, a farro bowl with kebab meat, roasted corn, chickpeas, feta, and tzatziki sauce with bread.

Snacks have usually been peanut butter-filled pretzels, cheese, or remaining Halloween sweet. Definitely extremely minimal on alcohol, which is not awfully various from what is normal, however I’m more acutely mindful of my consumption this week.
