Multiple states will be at danger of harmful travel over the Christmas vacation as blizzard conditions grip 2 states in the Northern Great Plains from Sunday night through Wednesday, according to a map released by the Weather Channel on Sunday.
The blustery winterseason storm follows on the tail of an offshore Pacific storm that discarded torrential rain in southern California on Thursday and then moved eastward, taking rain and snow to New Mexico. The inbound storm is approaching from the Pacific Northwest and will produce “dangerous” conditions for vacation tourists, according to a Saturday Fox Weather report.
According to the Weather Channel’s map, almost the whole state of Nebraska is under a blizzard caution, as well as southeastern and main South Dakota.
