TALLINN, Estonia — Police in Estonia detained a Russian teacher mentor at the Baltic nation’s most distinguished university on suspicions of spying for Moscow, authorities stated Tuesday.
Estonian Internal Security Service, or security cops, stated it introduced an examination into Viacheslav Morozov, a Russian nationwide and teacher of global politics at the University of Tartu, for his declared participation in intelligence activity indicated to weaken the nation’s nationwide security.
Authorities didn’t offer information of Morozov’s declared intelligence activities “as procedural actions are being taken to validate the allegation,” ISS and districtattorneys stated in a joint declaration.
