Rafael Fiziev believes Justin Gaethje combated him scared at UFC 286.
Gaethje (25-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) rallied to edge out Fiziev (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) by bulk choice this previous March in London. Fiziev declares that a Gaethje eye poke is what triggered the tide to turn.
“He ran away from me for 2 rounds,” Fiziev informed The AllStar. “He began to win me just after eye poke, duetothefactthat my eye doesn’t see anything. There was a huge white circle on my right eye all battle. I didn’t see anything with my right eye.
“He battled just excellent after the eye poke and Round 3 when I began to tire. But he ran away 2 rounds. He run, run, run. Yeah, perhaps my videogame strategy was sh*t and I did a lot of sh*t in this battle; didn’t listen to my corner, didn’t follow my videogame strategy. But still, he ran away for 2 rounds.”
Gaethje fired back upon hearing Fiziev’s remarks.
“Not a excellent appearance here. I hit him so hard he forgot which eye got poked. Your right eye got torched by my right hand kid.”
