The settlement follows the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals’ rejection to reevaluate a 2023 judgment that the restriction breaches federal law that offers the U.S. federalgovernment the authority to set energy-efficiency requirements for devices, the association stated in a declaration last week.
