ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Just hours after it started, legal wagering on the result of U.S. Congressional elections hasactually been put on hold by a federal appeals court.
The Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit released an order Thursday night briefly freezing the matter till it can thinkabout and guideline on the concern. No schedule was atfirst offered.
The court acted at about 8: 30 p.m. Thursday, simple hours after a federal judge cleared the method for the just bets on American elections to be lawfully approved by a U.S. jurisdiction.
U.S. District Court Judge Jia Cobb allowed New York start-up business Kalshi to start offering what amounts to bets on the o
