PUBLISHED : 24 Nov 2023 at 19: 45 Flames increase from a carsandtruck and a bus set alight DUBLIN: Rioters who torched cars and robbed stores in Dublin following a knife attack exterior a school brought “shame” on Ireland, Prime Minister Leo Varadkar stated on Friday, condemning the worst violence in years which authorities blamed on conservative groups. Thursday night’s discontent came after 3 kids were hurt in a stabbing near the centre of the Irish capital. The violence — which resulted in 34 arrests — began when a group broke through a cops cordon around the attack location in Parnell Square East, north main Dublin. The protesters set buses and cablecars alight and robbed stores in one of Dublin’s most well-known throughfares, O’Connell Street. “Those included brought embarassment on Dublin, brought embarassment on Ireland and brought pity on their households and themselves,” a noticeably upset Varadkar informed pressreporters, explaining the rioters as “criminals”.
