MINNEAPOLIS — A merger that would haveactually developed one of the biggest health service business in the Upper Midwest hasactually been ditched.
Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services and Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based Sanford Health revealed Thursday that they would not continue with the merger they hadactually been talkingabout consideringthat late last year. It would haveactually developed a system with more than 50 medicalfacilities and about 78,000 workers.
This is the 2nd time in a years that the 2 business thoughtabout a merger however stoppedworking to total it, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.
