WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — A Tesla chauffeur was eliminated and a guest was seriously hurt Saturday when the carsandtruck raked into a fire truck that was parked on a Northern California highway to guard a team cleaning another mishap, fire authorities stated.
Four firemens who were in the truck when it was struck on Interstate 680 were dealtwith for small injuries, stated Tracie Dutter, assistant chief of the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
The motorist was stated dead at the scene, Dutter stated. The automobile required to be cut open to getridof the guest, who was taken to the healthcarefacility.
Photos revealed the front end of the carsandtruck was squashed and the $1.4 million ladder truck was harmed.
