The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday without one of their leading offending playmakers.
Philadelphia revealed Sunday that large receiver A.J. Brown was reduced to out for the contest duetothefactthat of a hamstring injury. Brown did not getinvolved in Saturday’s practice and will now not take the field for the NFC face-off versus Atlanta.
This is rather the blow for the Eagles, as Brown began his season off in outstanding style with 5 captures for 119 backyards and one goal throughout a triumph over the Green Bay Packers.
The offense was called in versus Green Bay, as Saquon Barkley tallied 109 hurrying backyards, 23 getting lawns and 3 overall goals, while DeVonta Smith published 7 captures for 84 backyards.
Philadelphia certainly pictured something comparable when it signed Barkley this offseason. Opposing defenses that stack the box to offer with the star running back won’t have enough on the outside to stop Brown and Smith, and vice versa when they focus on the large receivers.
However, things will be a bit simpler for Atlanta now that Brown is out.
