Team Folon – the volunteer team of designers who haveactually launched the enthusiastic Fallout 4 mod, Fallout London – is set to launch itself as a brand-new indie studio.

Talking to the BBC (via PCGN), Folon’s job lead, Dean Carter, confessed that “as much as I love the reality that this is a totallyfree task – that we can deal this thing for totallyfree for all the neighborhood – totallyfree doesn’t pay our expenses”.

“What hasactually been fantastic for us is that a lot of individuals who have actually delightedin [Fallout London] haveactually contributed to us, and we’re carrying that into Team Folon, which is what we’re going to be moving into,” Carter stated.

“We needto ideally launch our own indie videogames business which will enable us to come up with our own concepts, develop our own videogames, and work […] without having to speak to anybody above us, such as Bethesda, or anything like that.

“It’ll be totally our own thing and we can produce a videogame that we desire, that we believe the neighborhood will delightin. Fallout London hasactually been a terrific springboard for that.”
