Carlos Leal’s start to the 2023 PFL 3 season couldn’t haveactually gone any muchbetter after rapidly putting away David Zawada in the veryfirst round to make 6 points in the welterweight season.
The Brazilian clipped Zawada (18-8) with a right hand and then swarmed him with a mix that sentout him towering down to the canvas. Leal (17-4) simply required a coupleof follow-up punches to get the referee to stop the action. The authorities interruption came at the 2: 25 mark of Round one.
