A health check at a Honolulu home last Saturday turned up a deceased male and a live python that determined 3-1/2 feet.
Few information were launched relatingto the dead guy. But the discovery of a animal python in a state where snakes are not enabled was worrying to state authorities.
“We must all be extremely worried that snakes are being carried and kept by locals which are a severe danger to Hawaii’s distinct environment,” Sharon Hurd, chairwoman of the Hawaii Board of Agriculture, specified in a news release.
“Those who understand anybody with snakes or other unlawful animals in Hawaii must report it and those who have them needto turn them in under amnesty.”
Hawaii’s amnesty program is developed to hinder individuals from launching undesirable intrusive reptiles into the wild, where they might develop populations and threaten native animals.
