Why Steve Spagnuolo was relatively offered a timeout throughout Ravens-Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs defensive planner Steve Spagnuolo apparently got away with something he was not enabled to do throughout his group’s season opener at home versus the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

As the Chiefs were in red zone defense versus the Ravens late in the 2nd quarter, the videogame broadcast revealed Spagnuolo, not Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, attempting to call a time out for Kansas City, which the authorities enabled.

That’s seeimingly a huge no-no for Spagnuolo and the main, as just gamers and head coaches are permitted to call for timeouts in the NFL.

Did the authorities screw this up and offer Spagnuolo a timeout he wasn’t enabled to call?
