Wisconsin is one of five programs in contention to land class of 2026 four-star running back Amari Latimer, according to On3’s Chad Simmons

The Badgers were listed along with Tennessee, Miami, Michigan and Texas. Simmons writes that Latimer is nearing a decision.

Wisconsin recently joined the mix for the four-star running back. Part of its inclusion is due to landing a transfer commitment from Jacksonville State cornerback Geimere Latimer, Amari’s older brother.

Geimere is poised to be a multiyear starter for the Badgers after two productive years at Jacksonville State, the latter a breakout campaign (42 tackles, three interceptions and five pass deflections).
