On June 14th, Grand Opening events will begin with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 10am, followed by family-friendly activities, including live entertainment, face painting and more.
The Towson development is being led by franchisee Raj Pingili. Pingili, a longtime community pharmacist and experienced entrepreneur, is bringing a new flavor to Towson, Maryland with the opening of the area’s first Paris Baguette café. The idea was sparked during a family vacation, when a spontaneous stop at a Paris Baguette in New York turned into a lasting impression. The bakery’s premium pastries, inviting atmosphere, and unforgettable experience stayed with the family long after their trip – and inspired Pingili to bring that same experience home. With deep roots in retail and a passion for serving his community, Pingili saw an opportunity to introduce something truly special to Towson: a warm, welcoming space centered around high-quality baked goods and meaningful connections.

The Towson café opening is a milestone for the brand, and the 3rd in the state of Maryland. As their growth continues, Paris Baguette is looking to reach the 1,000-unit mark in North America by 2030 and working to expand through meaningful partnerships with local entrepreneurs who show a genuine interest in uniting their neighbors through connections over fresh baked go
