It might not appear like that long ago that LaDainian Tomlinson, who retired from the league in 2011, was the most dominant running back in the NFL.

But shot this one on for size: LT’s nephew, TCU cornerback Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson, is about to be prepared into the league. Feel old yet?

Hodges-Tomlinson went through drills with the rest of the defensive backs on Friday, and it’s clear he’s got some of his uncle’s speed. He pleased with a strong 40-yard dash time of 4.42 seconds, whipping his uncle’s time from back in 2001 by simply .01 seconds.
