PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia — Malaysia and Indonesia signed contracts Thursday that ended longstanding maritime border conflicts and swore to strengthen cooperation to battle “highly destructive prejudiced” procedures versus palm oil.
Visiting Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim seen the finalizing of 2 landmark treaties on the delimitation of the countries’ territorial seas in parts of the Straits of Malacca and the Sulawesi Sea.
