BEIRUT — Auto magnate Carlos Ghosn hasactually submitted a $1 billion claim versus Nissan and about a lots people in Beirut over his jailtime in Japan and what he states is falseinformation spread versus him, Lebanese authorities stated Tuesday.
According to the authorities, Ghosn’s suit implicates Nissan and the people of libel and of “fabricating charges” versus him, which ultimately put him behind bars in Japan.
The suit was submitted last month, the judicial authorities stated, speaking on condition of privacy to goover the case. The authorities did not recognize the people that Ghosn is implicating.
Ghosn was detained in Japan in November 2018 on charges
