SYDNEY – From tossing water bottles at a press conference to winning a Fight of the Night fight, and then requiring to concern an apology for homophobic language throughout his post-fight interview, Manel Kape had a troubled battle week.
At the UFC 293 pre-fight press conference, Kape (19-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) didn’t offer his challenger Felipe dos Santos much attention, and rather focused on the male he was initially slated to face at the occasion, Kai Kara-France. After withdrawing due to concussion signs, Kara-France revealed up to the press conference in assistance of his City Kickboxing colleagues on phase.
