With the statement the UFC no longer will partner with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, Jon Jones desires one of his wins back.
On Wednesday, USADA CEO Travis Tygart exposed the anti-doping collaboration with the UFC will conclude Jan. 1, 2024, ending a near decade-long relationship.
UFC heavyweight champ Jones’ (27-1 MMA, 21-1 UFC) profession was surrounded with debate throughout his light heavyweight title reign. He twotimes was removed of his title for stoppingworking drug tests around title battles with Daniel Cormier.
Jones’ 2nd win over Cormier at UFC 214 was reversed to a no contest when he checked favorable for the anabolic steroid turinabol. Jones stated he did not intentionally take any forbidden compounds and that the compounds he takenin were polluted. He desires his knockout surface over Cormier turned back to a win.
