Dec. 28 (UPI) — The FAA stated Thursday it is carefully tracking targeted evaluations of Boeing’s 737 Max airplane looking for a possible loose bolt problem in the airplane’s rudder control system.
Boeing has advised operators of morerecent single-aisle planes to examine particular tie rods managing rudder motion to appearance for possible loose hardware, and the FAA stated it was in contact with the business and airlinecompanies as evaluations are underway.
