Authorities in Florida are still browsing for a guy who wentinto a Bass Pro Shops with a net, gotridof a 50-pound tarpon from a fish pond and strolled out of the shop with it.
A consumer videotaped the guy bring the web with the wiggling tarpon as he left the shop, and it was shared with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, which published it on its Facebook page.
The event happened at the shop on Gulf Center Drive in Fort Myers on the night of Dec. 20, however the suspect has yet to be recognized.
“Right now, our Criminal Investigations Division is working to follow leads in the case,” Sergeant Sarah Rodriguez informed USA Today/For The Win Outdoors.
