An Amsterdam court has ruled that Dutch nationwide airlinecompany KLM made deceptive declarations about sustainable airtravel in a case that implicated the provider of “greenwashing.”

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — In a choice hailed by an ecological group as a historical success, an Amsterdam court ruled Wednesday that Dutch nationwide airlinecompany KLM deceived customers in declarations about sustainable airtravel in a case that implicated the provider of “greenwashing.”

Amsterdam District Court stated in a declaration that in some ads, that are no longer in utilize, KLM “makes ecological declares based on unclear and basic declarations about ecological advantages, consequently deceiving customers.”
