TOKYO — TOKYO (AP) — Japanese carmanufacturer Honda declared its dedication to electrical lorries Thursday, stating it will invest 10 trillion yen ($65 billion) through financial 2031 to provide EV designs around the world, consistingof the U.S. and China.
“Honda has not altered its belief that EVs are the most efficient option in the location of little movement items such as bikes and cars,” the Tokyo-based business stated in a declaration.
By 2030, battery EVs and fuel cell EVs will make up 40% of Honda Motor Co.’s worldwide car sales, and it will have international production capability for more than 2 million EVs, it stated.
