Advanced, a company offering digital services for NHS 111, stated the attack was identified at 07: 00 BST on Thursday. The attack targeted the system utilized to refer clients for care, consistingof ambulances being dispatched, out-of-hours consultation reservations and emergencysituation prescriptions. But the NHS stated disturbance was verylittle. The National Crime Agency stated it was “aware of a cyber occurrence” and was working with Advanced. “A security concern was recognized theotherday, which resulted in loss of service,” stated Advanced manager Simon Short. “We can verify that the event is associated to a cyber-attack and as a safetymeasure, we rightaway separated all our health and care environments.” He stated the concern hadactually been consistedof “to a little number of servers”.
