Two top Federal Reserve authorities on Monday stated that they wear’t believe the labor market is weakening alarmingly — however the danger of more softening called for last week’s half-point cut in the policy rate.
“For sure, the labor market is not yet flashing red for me. That is not what the information program, nor what organization leaders inform us,” Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic stated in a speech to the European Economics and Financial .
