The United States has invested $22.76bn in assistance of Israel’s war on Gaza and operations versus the Houthis in Yemen, according to a report by Brown University’s Watson Institute.

The $17.9bn in military help to Israel because the war in Gaza began a year ago is the greatest yearly overall ever, according to the report.

The help to Israel is a mix of military funding, weapons sales, and transfers from UnitedStates weapons stockpiles, according to the report, which is part of the institute’s Costs of War job.

A big part of the US-delivered toolbox is munitions, the report stated, consistingof weapons shells and 2,000-pound (907kg) bombs.

Unlike the UnitedStates’s openly recorded military help to Ukraine, information of some UnitedStates military deliveries to Israel are more evasive, so the $17.9 bn figure is insufficient, according to Brown scientists.
