The previous head of engineering at FTX has asked a judge to extra him a jail sentence, according to attorneys representing him.

According to Bloomberg, Nishad Singh’s attorneys submitted a memo to a Manhattan federal judge declaring he shouldhave a lighter sentence due to his minimal function in the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange and “the excellent life he is devoted to leading.”

“His scenarios are amazing in every method that matters to sentencing: his individual history and qualities, his function in the charged offenses, the speed with which he complied, his reaction to the collapse of FTX, and how he has rebuilt his life consideringthat then,” his legalrepresentatives composed.
