LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Cherokee Nation Entertainment on Friday submitted a claim difficult a constitutional change Arkansas citizens authorized this week that withdraws its license for a prepared gamblingestablishment in the state.
The suit submitted in federal court declares the procedure authorized by citizens on Tuesday breaks its constitutional rights, and looksfor to block its enforcement before it takes impact Nov.13 The constitutional change obstructs a gamblingestablishment that was prepared in Pope County.
Pope County was one of 4 websites where gamblingestablishments were enabled to be constructed under a constitutional change that citizens authorized in2018 Casinos have currently been set up in the other 3 places.
