Chilean authorities have verified that President Gabriel Boric is being examined over accusations of sexual harassment.
In a declaration on Tuesday, Attorney General Cristian Crisosto stated claims submitted in September at the districtattorney’s workplace of Magallanes in southern Chile, where Boric formerly served as a legislator, are being examined.
The 38-year-old Boric has “categorically” rejected the accusations through his lawyer Jonatan Valenzuela, who stated in a declaration that Boric himself hadactually been “the victim of organized harassment through e-mail”.
Valenzuela stated the grievance comes from a lady who sentout Boric unsolicited and sexually specific e-mails from July 2013 to July 2014 while the problem implicates Boric of harassment and dripping personal images.
