JACKSON, Wyo. — A big portion of a twisting mountain pass roadway collapsed in Wyoming, authorities stated Saturday, leaving a open gorge in the highway and severing a well-traveled commuter link inbetween little towns in eastern Idaho and the traveler location of Jackson.
Aerial pictures and drone video of the collapse program the Teton Pass roadway riven with deep fractures, and a huge area of the pavement vanished entirely. Part of the guardrail hung into the void, and orange traffic drums significant off the threat location. The roadway was closed at the time of the collapse.
The area that stoppedworking veryfirst drew attention Thursday when a fracture and drop in the roadway contributed to the crash of a motorbike.
