ANAHEIM, Calif. — Thousands of employees at Disney’s style park and resort homes in California voted late Friday to license a possible strike, as agreement settlements drag on over salaries, ill leave and other advantages.
The strike permission was authorized by an frustrating margin, almost 99% of the members who cast votes, according to a union declaration. The election was held by a union of 4 unions, which represents 14,000 Disney trip operators, shop clerks, custodians, sweet makers, ticket takers, parking attendants and other workers.
