SAN FRANCISCO — Elon Musk is attempting to slash expenditures at Twitter as close to absolutelyno as possible while his individual wealth diminishes — and this obviously has consistedof falling behind on lease payments at the business’s workplaces.

Twitter owes $136,260 in pastdue lease on its workplaces on the 30th flooring of a structure in downtown in San Francisco, according to a claim submitted by the constructing’s propertymanager last week.

The propertymanager at 650 California St., which is not Twitter’s primary San Francisco headoffice, served a notification to the social media business on Dec. 16 notifying it that it would be in default if it didn’t pay within 5 days. The 5 days expired without payment, according to the suit.

The proprietor, Columbia REIT 650 California LLC, is lookingfor damages amountingto the back lease, as well as lawyer costs and other costs. Twitter signed a seven-year lease for the workplaces in2017 The month-to-month lease was $107,526.50 in the veryfirst complete year and boost slowly to $128,397 per month in the seventh year.
