AUSTIN, Texas — A California guy who states he was bugged after Elon Musk magnified posts on his social media platform X, previously understood as Twitter, that wrongly positioned the male at a fight including reactionary protesters takenlegalactionagainst the billionaire for characterassassination in a suit submitted Monday.
Benjamin Brody, 22, is represented by Mark Bankston, a Texas lawyer who won a libel case last year versus conspiracy theorist Alex Jones in a suit brought by households of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting. Brody is lookingfor a jury trial in Austin, Texas, and undefined damages of at least $1 million.
Attorneys for Musk did not rightaway respond to demands for remark left through a representative.
