TOKYO — Japan’s damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant stated it started launching a 2nd batch of dealtwith radioactive wastewater into the sea on Thursday after the veryfirst round of discharges ended efficiently.

Plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings stated employees triggered pumps to waterdown the dealtwith water with big quantities of seawater, gradually sendingout the mix into the ocean through an undersea tunnel for an overseas release.
