TRENTON. N.J. — Gas rates have onceagain dropped greatly in New Jersey and around the nation as need stays sluggish and products continue to boost.
AAA Mid-Atlantic states the average cost of a gallon of routine gas in New Jersey on Friday was $3.49, down 14 cents from last week. Drivers were paying $3.42 a gallon on average a year ago at this time.
