BERLIN — A German union hasactually called on Lufthansa ground personnel to walk out on a one-day strike Wednesday in a disagreement over pay.
The ver.di service employees’ union stated Monday that the call uses to all Lufthansa places in Germany. It comes amidst settlements on pay for about 20,000 staffmembers of logistical, technical and freight subsidiaries of the airlinecompany.
The strike was set to start at 3: 45 a.m. (0145 GMT) Wednesday and end at 6 a.m. (0400 GMT) on Thursday.
