SAN JOSE, Calif. — A male charged with setting a fire that gutted a Northern California Home Depot, triggered hundreds to runaway and filled the sky with smoke was attempting to cover up a theft of tools, authorities stated Tuesday.
Dyllin Jaycruz Gogue, 27, of San Jose, was jailed last Friday. He appeared in court Tuesday and was provided a public protector and a June 1 court date to getin a plea. He was being held without bail.
