LOS ANGELES — Millions of dollars worth of gems and preciousjewelry were taken in an armored truck break-in last week in Southern California, authorities stated Sunday.
The Brink’s truck was robbed in the early earlymorning on July 11 near Los Angeles, stated Dana Callahan, a spokesperson for the security business.
The product hadactually been filled onto the truck late on July 10 following an exhibition hosted by the International Gem and Jewelry Show in San Mateo, south of San Francisco, stated Brandy Swanson, the group’s director. It was going to an occasion at the Pasadena Convention Center simply northeast of Los Angeles, she stated.
