NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Pelicans and Smoothie King have concurred to restore their arena identifying rights agreement, the club revealed Tuesday.

The arena will “retain its unique identity as the Smoothie King Center for the foreseeable future,” the Pelicans stated in a declaration.

Neither the club nor Smoothie King launched information on the particular length or worth of the arrangement. The preliminary arrangement, reached in 2014, ran for 10 years through the existing NBA season and apparently had an approximated worth approaching $40 million.

The Pelicans’ lease at the 24-year-old arena is due to end next summerseason. But the club has stated it plans to workout an alternative to stay in the Smoothie King Center through at least the end of the c
