BISMARCK, N.D. — North Dakota energy regulators in an uncommon relocation approved a demand to reassess their rejection of a secret license for a proposed carbon dioxide pipeline.
North Dakota’s Public Service Commission in a 2-1 vote on Friday approved Summit Carbon Solutions’ demand for reconsideration. Chairman Randy Christmann stated the panel will set a hearing schedule and “clarify the concerns to be thoughtabout.”
Reconsideration “only enables extra proof for the business to shot to encourage us that they are attendingto the shortages,” he stated.
Denying Summit’s demand would haveactually indicated the business would have to reapply, with a monthslong procedure that would start all over onceagain without any of the details in the present case, consistingof prolonged testament.
