The death toll from 2 landslides in southern Ethiopia hasactually increased to more than 100 individuals, according to federalgovernment authorities, who cautioned the number might increase.
The veryfirst landslide, activated by heavy rains in a remote area of Gofa zone, happened on Monday and was followed by a 2nd one that buried individuals who had collected to aid, state authorities stated on Tuesday.
