Phangnga: Thailand has persuaded the World Heritage commitee to accept its election of the Andaman Sea Natural Reserves of Thailand to be called on Unesco’s World Heritage list by the year2025 Rungnapa Phattanawiboon, deputy chief of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP), stated the department lobbied for addition on the tentative list in December last year and prepared to sendout its complete report to the committee priorto February next year after a cabinet resolution backs the quote. “We hope that we can win the bulk votes from the 21 members of the committee,” Ms Rungnapa stated.
