Fourth-seeded Sweden now leads Pool A at 4-0 through 2 days of round-robin play — locking up a berth in the semi-finals — and the top-seeded United States moved into 2nd at 3-1 after taking both points from England on Friday. Sweden and the United States will fight Saturday in the last day of the round-robin phase. In Pool B, sixth-seeded Thailand and seventh-seeded Australia (3-0-1) are ensured development to the semi-finals after Australia won one match and connected the other versus Japan on Friday. The International Crown is being played for the veryfirst time because 2018 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
