Taliban commemorates 3 years of return to power in Afghanistan

Afghanistan’s rulers commemorate the anniversary of their return to power amidst a gettingworse humanitarian crisis.

Afghanistan’s Taliban has wellknown 3 years in power with a military parade, paying tribute to its homemade bombs, fighter airplane and goose-stepping security forces.

The Taliban’s armed forces pulled Soviet-era tanks and weapons pieces through Bagram, the previous United States airbase, where Chinese and Iranian diplomats were amongst hundreds who collected for the parade and speeches on Wednesday.

The airbase served as the lynchpin for the US-led operations versus the Taliban for 2 years.

Taliban forces took Kabul on August 15, 2021, after the US-backed federalgovernment collapsed and its leaders left into exile. The anniversary is significant a day earlier on the Afghan calendar.

The Taliban federalgovernment stays unrecognised by any other state, with limitations on ladies, who bear the force of policies the United Nations hasactually called “gender apartheid”, staying a secret sticking point.

Security hasactually been a concern for Taliban authorities as they combined their power over the past 3 years, executing laws based on their stringent analysis of Islam.

Rugby gamer Samiullah Akmal applauded the day’s occasions, stating it was “better than other years”.

“As a young male, I see Afghanistan’s future is brilliant… We are independent and the individuals surrounding us are our own.”
